THE STORY
A pocketknife, a forest and a quiet dream.
When I was a kid, my grandfather gave me my first pocketknife. I spent whole afternoons whittling sticks in the woods. I still remember the smell of the forest, and freshly cut oak still gets me every time.
Then life took me somewhere else. For 20 years I've been building tech companies, including edelight and Regiohelden, both of which eventually found new owners. It was a great ride. But at the end of most days, I had nothing I could actually hold in my hands.
One thought never went away: someday, I'll have my own woodshop.
EDITION W is my first step toward that. It's where my two worlds meet: technology that turns any place into precise lines, and wood that turns those lines into something that lasts.
